The solo episodes will leave you feeling ready to take inspired action, create your own flow state in business and become even more empowered to live your most authentic and abundant life. A little more about me…A few years ago I decided that I had to scratch the entrepreneurial itch. I quit my job as a tech start-up recruiter and went all in as an online coach. Along with my hubby, we created a global coaching brand, travelled the world as digital nomads with our two kids and in 3 years, grew a multi-million dollar business. It took a lot of trial and error, trying out new strategies and of course daily discipline to get this far so quickly. But after some time, the hustle got tiring. I was frustrated with my lack of progress, feeling caged by my own limiting beliefs. I didn’t want to just create another J-O-B, I desired to experience freedom.
In search of freedom, I turned to the inner work and found modalities like astrology, hypnotherapy, meditation and journaling to find ME again. I discovered ways to re-shape my reality and unlock my hidden strengths - as I became my true, unapologetic self, I rapidly grew my business to 7 figures with ease. Now I incorporate these teachings into my coaching philosophy. I blend energetics with proven business principles to create massive growth for my clients. I’m a top-rated Forbes business coach and LOVE every single day in my business and life. Ready to dive in? Then start bingeing!

Okay. I need to talk about something that I see all the time with my clients, with my friends, with my family, and especially those of you who are really giving so much in your careers, you're giving to others. If you're a coach, mentor, teacher, healer, you get what I mean. You're pouring so much out of your cup every single day.
This episode is for the ones who feel guilty, aaf, for taking time out of your day. The ones who can't fully relax because you feel like you should be doing more, the ones who've been holding so much. Like you hold so much energy for your clients and your community and your family, by the way. And you still carry this belief that if you are not working hard, you are not.
Earning it and you don't deserve it, and you don't truly believe that rest is what can actually be the thing that fuels you long term, that can actually help you make more money and create more impact in this world. Now, firstly. Please know that you are not alone. I've been here several times. Every single entrepreneur you're gonna speak to is gonna either be here consistently in this like tug of war guilty thing that they're doing, or be recovering from the hard work energy and is still sometimes slipping back into that habit.
So let me first explain. I understand that there's this tension that I've seen in so many of you, and honestly, like I said, I felt this for me too many times over that if you are not going full throttle. Every single day, filling every single hour of your calendar up with something to do and something productive and feeling as though you are, you know, ticking all your boxes with your clients.
If you're doing work for them, then you must be the reason why you are not getting the results that you want. And the results I'm talking about is data driven, likely something to do with your algorithm or getting more followers or being more seen, yada, yada, yada. And at the same time. You are hearing people like me and others talk about work less, earn more, be smarter with your energy, be in flow, but you're still not quite sure how that fits in.
With your drive and how you do life and how you do business, and I'm gonna guess that if you're listening to this, you are hella ambitious. Hella ambitious, let's call it that. You are ambitious. You care so much, you want the big vision. You want to see that happen faster and quicker, and the way that you've always been programmed to have that happen to you.
Is to go faster and to be quicker and to do more work, and to squeeze every last minute that you have left in you to become this version of you. So this audio, I'm sitting here in my office. It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon and I felt this conviction to share this message, right? Like my ocean toes are still salty from the ocean.
My ocean toes. Oh my God. Someone give, get me a coffee after this. Anyhow. This is gonna be your permission slip to just take time out without guilt. I'm gonna actually walk you through my rituals that I use every day to sign that big permission slip to work less. I wanna also specifically shine a spotlight on my power down ritual.
And I wanna talk about this in context to not just relaxing, but I want you to build sustainable wealth, clarity energy, and a business that really, really goes far so that you are not just like burning the candle at both ends in one single month, and then you can't work for another three weeks because you're just like.
Whoa. Like where do I even get the energy to open my eyelids anymore? Okay, so I'm gonna show you how this actually helps me make more money month on month, and how resting, winding down, having a really good power down ritual and what I do in the evenings, how I let go of whatever it is that I've been hanging onto all day, all week.
How this is part of the biggest strategy for me, why I'm making daily sales, why it's become the most profitable year ever. Why? Every single social media channel that I'm posting on at the moment is literally growing and growing and growing. Why I'm having high ticket clients sign themselves up.
Literally as I'm recording this, you guys, I've just had two sales pop up, just bam, bam. And I know that the reason why this is happening is because I'm learning how to let go. I'm learning how to detach and the, the way that I get to detachment. Is through learning how to chillax. Okay, so let's get into it.
I wanna firstly talk about why powering down actually really works. And I feel like the entrepreneurial conversation has always been about putting a lot of pressure on how we start the day. It's, you know, this sort of movement, the morning routine, and getting up at the 5:00 AM club, doing all of your journaling, hitting all of your spiritual things that you need to do, the breath work, the, the hot rooms, whatever, and, and batching all of your content before the sun even rises.
Okay. Honestly, that to me feels like such a nightmare way to start my day. I am not a morning person. I tried the 5:00 AM club thing. Everyone has a different circadian rhythm. But honestly, I truly believe that how you end your day is actually more important than how you begin it. Because if you are not actively powering down in a way that actually feels good for your soul.
If you're not closing out any loops that aren't serving you, you are bringing that energy of incompleteness and not enoughness into tomorrow. And what I mean by this, and this is something that I have seen a lot of my clients do, they take all their worries to bed with them, they wanna sleep it off because they've had a shit day, they've had a bad conversation with a client.
A retainer, client's dropped off. They've had an argument with their partner. They feel really mad at their dad about something, whatever the case is, and they're just going, fuck it, I'm just gonna go to bed. I'm gonna sleep it off. And I just hope tomorrow's just gonna be better. If you're not powering down correctly, what your subconscious does is so magnetic, or it can be extremely, extremely annoying because it sucks it all in.
And then somewhere along the way, three months down the track, you're gonna have to pull that out in some sort of meditation, hypnosis. And we don't want to go to bed with any of those, like negative, toxic. Bad feeling, thoughts and moments, because that is what you'll wake up with in the morning. We wanna clear that out.
We wanna close the loop, and you don't wanna carry that over. And if you do and you're noticing that this is happening, what's the number one thing you're gonna be feeling physically when you wake up in the morning? You're gonna be waking up feeling very tired, lethargic, and maybe even with that anxiety bubble in your tummy.
And you, you just don't know why you're waking up like this. You just feel sick about it. It's because you are being low-key, anxious, maybe high-key, anxious. You feel behind. You feel like you haven't done enough from the day before because you didn't close that loop. And that includes conversational loops.
This includes subconscious loops, energetic loops. Because your nervous system is staying locked in to a problem solving mode, and even when you're supposed to be in creation and magnetism and flow in the morning, all you can think about is solving that problem that you haven't yet solved from the day before or the weeks before.
So I do really want to bring that to light because it's lovely having an amazing magnetic morning routine, and you can be journaling your next level life, you know, to your heart's content. But that niggle. Of like, oh my God, that client's dropped off, or, I'm not making enough money. Or How am I even gonna hit my income targets this month?
And I owe my dad this much money. And seriously, like, I don't even know how I'm gonna pay this person, blah, blah, blah. That's still gonna be louder than whatever you are wanting to journal at 5:00 AM. So something that I want to share, both backed by signs and my own results, is that you need to know this term active recovery.
Active recovery, and this is what every athlete does, right? Like in between their performances on the world stage, winning medals, winning trophies, they have a thing called active recovery, and it's usually longer than the time that they're actually in the spotlight. So if a tennis player is on court for five hours, they're actually doing active recovery for sometimes up to eight hours.
They call it the second game. This isn't a passive rest. This is what helps us access creative states, strategic thinking, emotional regulation, and how we access this empowering feeling that, you know, we desire all the time. Because when you are operating from your sacral space, nothing else matters. No one else's opinion matters.
No one's strategy or blueprint is gonna make you a millionaire. It's your code. The way that we keep your code clean is to access the feeling of success. And the only way you're gonna feel successful is to have certain aspects in place to help your brain shift from logical thinking to calm, creative insight.
So this is effectively your brain shifting from a beta brainwave to an alpha or theta brainwave, where that calmness comes in. And that doesn't happen, right? If you are just constantly on the go, go, go, go, go, and then, oh, I've had such a crazy, crazy day. I need to switch off and go to sleep straight away.
And then you fall asleep with your whatever, your headphones in, and you are falling asleep to some sort of meditation. You're hoping that it's doing something in your subconscious. Some of you're falling asleep with your iPad in your hand, and you're worrying about all these things, and then you seal it all in with a sleep.
Your money making mind needs recovery. It needs spaciousness to come up with the most profitable, creative, exciting, fun ideas. Your next idea literally needs spaciousness. I have a couple of clients right now and they have had a pretty shit year with income. They haven't grown. They feel like they need to work harder, and I can see straight up that there is.
Zero space for them to come up with ideas, and that includes process improvement. That includes ways to create boundaries for themselves, and that includes pricing and saying no to crappy clients and saying yes to themselves. My loves. Your soul needs space. Your nervous system cannot give what you need from it.
If you are stuck in a guilt cycle of I didn't do enough today, I am not enough today, this is why my power down rituals has completely changed the face of the way I operate as an entrepreneur. And I don't mean I had a bubble bath and I made millions of dollars, although sometimes totally yes. I mean intentional winding down.
Like you are a freaking athlete and you are in active recovery and you might not have 16 people on your team to level up your body, but you do have, hey, 16 guides somewhere out in the ether you have 16 videos that can help you craft your power down ritual. You have 16 ways. You could literally write down, and you'd know every, every single one of us is gonna write down something different around how we would love to power down at night and what a really beautiful, luxurious, active recovery would look like for you.
I might write down a two hour massage. Some of you are like, oh my gosh, how boring. How do you stay on a massage table for two hours? I'm like, oh, girl, please. Like, this is what I live for. Yes. I mean, intentional winding down is what will support the next version of you. So let me share with you what that actually looks like for me in my real life.
Again, this is just for ideas. Okay. It's not like make sure you copy every single thing I do. So you know you can be successful too. No, just ideas. And this is specifically how I calm down my brainwaves and my nervous system and my energetic being and my spiritual self elevates, and I feel so connected to that.
Girl, that version of me, that next version of me who is just like, oh, I'm already her. When I'm winding down, I'm her. So most times I start my wind down after my son goes to bed. He goes to bed at 8:45 PM on a school night, and he's really good. He brushes his teeth, he's in bed. He doesn't need me to like hang around too long.
He's just in bed, head on the pillow asleep. So yes, I'm happy about that. And you know what? At this point, my energy's been poured out all day. I've coached my clients, I've written content, I've shared stuff on social media. I've shown up online. I've run group calls, spoken to my mom for an hour, celebrated client wins.
I've been in Voxer for half an hour. I've handled any tech issues that's popped up. I've spoken to my best friend about, you know, her relationship dramas. I've brainstorm new offers. Okay? You get what I mean? So think about it, how much energy you pour out, you pour out, you pour out. It's time to give back to yourself.
Don't you think I know it by the time it's 8:45 PM I'm like, I need me time. And I just hole up in my beautiful master bedroom. I have a gorgeous en suite. My bathroom is like those vogue get ready with me. Scenes like it's full marble. My whole bathroom's full marble. It's so luxurious. And then I have like, if I have the blind up, I can see.
The ocean and the city lights out in the distance. So it's a whole vibe. My bath actually faces the sparkling city lights at night. It's gorgeous. So here's what I do. Maybe not every night, but enough to make a difference. I really like watching TV series. It is just my thing. I love it. I'm currently watching something that's so lame, but I'm here for it.
The Buccaneers, I dunno if you guys watch that. Anyway, watching that I've, you know, put that on. It's turned on somewhere in my en suite, and I just let my brain breathe. Not trying to be productive. I'm not doing anything except just enjoying, sometimes I have a little glass of wine with me, or if it's not a TV series, I might have a YouTube on, and I'm watching my favorite vloggers.
You know, some people that I love. Shelby Church, Victoria McGrath. I just like watching their day to day. I've watched them for ages, you know, I've put them on. I'm painting my toenails or I'm doing like, um, an everything shower you, you know, if you know, you know, an everything shower, the whole thing. And I'm just like fully, I don't know, lathering my body with moisturizer and lotion.
Not to be fancy, but just because it makes me feel like a goddess. It makes me feel like the version of me who is looked after. I might throw on a face mask. I might have a hair treatment in. And again, just for me, it's just like I'm gonna create a little spa situation at 9:00 PM at night and I've got a candle burning.
I journal. You know, sometimes when I have the Buccaneers on TV I'll have my journal open and I'm just writing stuff. Just sometimes things that I'm like two to three lines. And this show that I'm watching is slip based in the Gilded Age. So there's so much opulence and luxury and gold, and they're dresses and their hair.
And I just think to myself, wow, like I'm in full gilded age princess, you know, vibes like I, I can be there with them. I feel it. And I speak to the version of me who already has exactly what I want. I know what income level I'm at after I know. What, how I wanna feel when I have everything that I need to be looked after and everything that I want to give to others and all the things, and I'm not overthinking it.
There's literally no long rituals when I'm powering down. It's just complete flow. I, I'm not watching the clock of like, oh, I've journaled now for exactly 20 minutes. No. Oh, I've massaged, you know, my hair mask into my hair for this long, and, and I can tick that box. It's not that. All I'm doing is that I'm creating a retreat for myself.
I'm checking in to my night spa, and I'm checking in to this active recovery, luxurious space. And to me, this is actually more of the real work than writing an Instagram post. Truly like. To me, having this beautiful time, and by the way, I usually fall asleep about 1130 at night. I'm, I'm somewhat of a late owl and I love it.
And that's me. I, I just have these like two hours to myself of the evening. I was speaking to a friend of mine, she's a soccer mom friend. I just love her, and she's like, isn't it just magical? She stays up till 3:00 AM and she's like, there's something. Just like magic dust that happens at night. I'm like, girl, I'm with you.
I know what you mean. It's so delicious. It's the best and it's quiet. And I feel so connected to this next level version of me that I essentially become, her embodiment is one of the 12 flow triggers that Mihi Chick Semi Mehi talks about. And I am so grateful every single night when I'm powering down for everything that's been created.
And it's not to say I don't have shit days, it doesn't mean that I've had to. Have go through moments that has just frustrated the hell out of me. But I'm releasing all of that and I'm allowing myself to go to sleep, feeling like a goddess, feeling like I've looked after myself today, feeling like I'm going to bed with a full cup.
And when I wake up, I notice the difference. I don't have a big power up ritual at all. Like most times it's sort of like we get up in the morning, we make the coffee, we get the, you know, we get Teddy ready for school and then it's go, go, go. It's not necessarily like hours and hours in the morning. If you can find that in your morning, that is fantastic.
But I just want to bring a spotlight to how you are going to sleep, what you're doing with your subconscious mind. All right? So take a breath with me right now, tea breath in, and a big exhale, and I wanna give yourself the opportunity to ask yourself. When do you feel most you most grounded? When you are most in tune with yourself?
When you are most powerful? Meaning the moments that you know you've got the answer and you do not need to bounce it off anyone else. You don't need to bounce it off your coach. You don't need to bounce it off your partner. You're just like, this is the answer. This is how I'm gonna make more money. This is how I'm gonna have the best life ever and this is how I'm gonna solve this problem.
Like that moment when you're in it, before you start second guessing, and it might not be during the hours that you think it's gonna happen in, it might be when you're going on a really long, beautiful walk. It might be like at night when you are literally, you've got the candle set and you've got your bath running.
I just want you to tune in to when that is, and if you don't know, this will be a great experiment for the rest of the week of like, when is it that I most trust myself? That is your power down ritual. You do not need the sun to set in the moon to come out, for you to power down necessarily. You can do like little micropower downs throughout the day.
I definitely, most days take a nap about 2:00 PM. Like that is my peak nap time before I do school pickup. And it might just be like a little 20 minute kip, but that is a mini power down and I'm here for it. Right? There's, and then I wake up and I'm like, cool. So from three. To four. It's all of time with the family.
Then from about four to five, I'm driving my son to some sort of sport lesson, and then from five to six it's getting ready for dinner. And then from about six to seven, we're eating seven till 8 45. I do do a little bit of work. That's when I feel really jazzed and ready to go, and then I powered down.
Okay, so now I know for many of you. A lot of you are business owners, your coaches, your healers, your mentors, your guides, your energy givers, your space holders. You carry the vision for yourself and for others, and your default is actually to show up for others. But what happens when your own energy goes unmet?
I know you know this. You start to question your worth, you overcompensate. You drop boundaries, you pour from an empty cup, and then you wonder why your creativity and your certainty has dried up and why sales are feeling forced. Powering down has been the capital letters, the number one way that I've kept my cup full 'cause it's sacred time.
I show up, rested, regulated, reconnected, and I honestly think a lot of my audience members now, my clients, they feel it, which is why I'm growing on every platform, which is why I feel so magnetic right now. Like I honestly believe it's what makes people say yes to somebody. You needing to say much at all?
I've actually worked a lot less. I've posted a lot less. I've done a lot less this year, but my magnetism is all the way up because I've really, really dedicated time to my power down ritual. Okay. So I wanna end with some, this little manifestation practice that I've been doing every day. I've been sharing it with my inner circle and my client groups.
I have been loving this one method of manifestation where I am basically accessing. The I am within me. You know, like the I am is the creator within yourself. And I have been writing and writing sentences that activates my, I am, I am this version of me now. I am doing this now. I have this in my possession now and I have this big old list that sits on my bedside table and I read it just before I go to sleep.
And I let all of those juicy, subconscious, mm, everything, all the juices, lock in. When I wake up, it's also the first thing that I read. I don't look at my phone, I'm not doing anything else. It's the first thing. My eyes are blinking open and I reach for this letter and I'm reading. I'm doing every day for 30 days, and I wanna share with you some of the things that I've put on my list.
And then I want you to write yours. It doesn't matter how many I ams, it's on this list, but it's just, I find it, oh my God, just so incredibly, incredibly powerful. So here are some of mine. I am now experiencing an upward trend in my sales and revenue. Every single day, I used to say month but day, I am now seeing my income rise and rise just as quickly and steadily as my social media growth is rising and rising.
I am now the version of me who enjoys $5,000 days, and that feels like the baseline. I am now living the wealth jumps I used to write about in my journals. I am now watching my year speed towards a $5 million year knowing it's all ready mine. I am now building a body of work that sells while I sleep. I am now recording a casual voice note that turns into a $10,000 week.
I am now writing content that magnetizes buyers in minutes. I am now being flooded with passive sales whilst I'm playing tennis at lunch with my girlfriends or picking up my son from school. I keep going with this. I have so many, I, I literally have about 70 right now, so it's becoming a very long, you know, like reading the list before bed.
But sometimes if I'm super tired, I'll just read like 10 or so and I'll just let that soak in. So tonight I want you to breathe like your life is working out. I wanna speak life into your future self. Write that letter. Have it. Sit there on your bedside table. Do whatever you need to do to power down each night.
Don't checklist it. It's your sacred time. Make it luxurious. Sit in the stillness, read a trashy novel, whatever it is that just makes you feel like, mm, this is so good and you're just so happy to be doing this. Right. Because we wanna let your nervous system remember that you are really safe. Now that you're building something really secure, that you're building something that is gonna be around for a long time.
Building something that's gonna set you up for your financial future is gonna look after your family for generations to come, and that you are leaving a legacy that really truly has changed the world. Okay? That's where the real strategy begins. When you're doing this level of work. This is what Flow state is.
I love you. You're doing amazing and I wanna just remind you again that you are allowed to rest and power down and to be all of you. Okay, my loves. I hope you enjoyed this one. I'll catch you in the next episode and make sure go back to the one before, which is about the wealth jumps that I've made. I think you're really, really gonna love that one too.
Okay, big kisses, and I'm off to watch my son play soccer. Okay, bye chow.
